Planning Engineer

Job Description

- BSc in Civil Engineering
- From a recognized University with relevant professional qualification.
- Minimum 12 years’ total experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in similar projects in UAE
- (low and high rise residential/commercial towers, malls/shopping centres) projects.

Responsibilities:

Site Supervision Management and Administration, Coordination. Checking Site Progress Meetings. Liaison with Design Manager, Management and Client Representative. Administration and Managing/monitoring of Review & Approval of Technical Submittals, Material Submittals, Method Statement, Procedures, Shop Drawings, As-Built Documents/ drawings and Check Request, Contractor’s work program submissions. Monitoring Contractor’s Progress of work. Overseeing actual project progress versus the planned work milestones. Monitoring, adjusting and updating the cost plan and cash flows accordingly and the consolidation of these results in weekly reports. Reviewing in conjunction with the Project Manager or Construction Manager any potential changes, and in turn measuring where possible future saving or additional costs can be identified. Site based knowledge of the full project life cycle, with at least one example of working on a project from beginning to completion.
