Job Purpose:

To support the Procurement Team, responsible for pricing agreement negotiations while ensuring financial and process deliverables are met and a high degree of service to internal customers, standards, and contract compliance are maintained.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth and effective functioning of the Procurement Department. Deliver a high degree of service to internal clients, ensure that corporate standards, best practices, and internal compliance are adhered to, and achieve financial and process objectives or targets
• Ensure that all new suppliers have completed the vendor registration process and the approval of the same prior to processing the purchase orders and or contracts
• To perform vendor evaluation and ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds the standards and adheres to our overall company policies and procedures, recommendations for change based upon performance and budgetary considerations
• Build a robust database of sources of supply and a comprehensive network of alternative suppliers which reduces the vulnerability of the supply chain and provides overall flexibility and reliability.
• Participate in the development of procurement strategies by processing documents with relevant information and monitoring strategies. Accountable for identifying and executing cost saving initiatives, process improvements and standardization in order to increase efficiency.
• Provide groundwork and support for the identification of the right suppliers and service providers to receive quotations for the tenders and also for submission to the existing clients on the variation works.
• Participate and actively contributing in all tendering and bidding process by providing proactive support.
• Understanding the company tendering and bidding process by continuously engaging with the business development and tendering departments.
