Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day technical operations of assigned offshore vessels (AHTS/PSV or similar).
Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking.
Ensure vessels comply with all class, flag, and company safety and quality standards.
Provide technical guidance and operational support to onboard engineering teams.
Monitor vessel performance, budgets, and maintenance costs.
Prepare technical reports and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must have sailed as Chief Engineer on offshore vessels, ideally AHTS or PSV.
Proven experience ashore as a Technical Superintendent managing offshore support vessels.
Strong technical knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance planning, and compliance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to relocate to Qatar or Dubai (relocation assistance provided).
