Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed shop drawings and cutting lists for joinery projects in line with approved designs and specifications.

  • Prepare production-ready drawings for cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchens, doors, wall panels, and custom furniture.

  • Generate 3D models and rendered visualisations when required.

  • Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), material take-offs, and material requisitions.

  • Review and interpret architectural and interior design drawings to understand project requirements.

  • Coordinate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and factory teams to ensure smooth execution.

  • Prepare CNC-ready files where applicable.

  • Revise drawings based on site measurements and consultant/client feedback.

  • Maintain proper drawing version control and documentation.

  • Conduct site visits when necessary to verify dimensions and provide technical support.

  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and industry regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in joinery detailing and drafting.

  • Strong knowledge of joinery construction methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.

  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D software such as SketchUp/Revit is an advantage).

  • Experience in preparing cutting lists and production drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy standards.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
