Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings from design concepts, architectural drawings, and site measurements.
Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and aligned with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
Coordinate with designers, project engineers, production teams, and site teams to ensure drawings reflect practical manufacturing solutions.
Update and revise drawings according to comments from consultants, clients, or production feedback.
Maintain an organized drawing library and revision control system.
Perform site visits and measurements when required to verify existing conditions.
Ensure that all joinery details comply with industry standards, safety, and quality requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a joinery or fit-out company.
Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3D Max is an advantage.
Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, materials (wood, veneer, MDF, laminate, etc.), and hardware fittings.
Good knowledge of technical detailing, joinery construction methods, and shop drawing standards.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
