Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create detailed and precise technical drawings for joinery projects, ensuring compliance with standards and client specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with the project engineers, manager etc. to interpret their visions and transform them into executable plans.
  • Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess project feasibility, ensuring that all designs are practical and achievable.
  • Utilize CAD software to produce 2D, enabling clients and stakeholders to visualize the final product before construction begins.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including material lists, cutting lists etc. and project timelines, to facilitate effective project management.
  • Provide technical support to the production team during the manufacturing process, addressing any design-related challenges that arise.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma / ITI / Bachelors degree.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in joinery design or a similar role is crucial for understanding industry nuances.
  • Certification & proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit will enhance your technical capabilities and marketability.
  • Hands-on experience in joinery or carpentry will provide valuable insights into practical applications of your designs.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset will help you adapt to evolving design trends and client needs.
