Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet set standards.
  • Help in planning menus and developing new dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Step in for the Head Chef during their absence.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4–6 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong background in Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine, including authentic preparation and presentation.
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations and assist the Head Chef in menu execution and daily activities.
  • Skilled in training and supervising junior kitchen staff while ensuring teamwork and consistency.
  • Knowledge of food cost control, portion management, and minimizing waste.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP standards, hygiene, and food safety protocols.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to deliver high-quality dishes under pressure.
  • Good leadership, time management, and communication skills.
