Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The Accounts Assistant / Junior Accountant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to start their career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recording daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
  • Maintain accurate filing of financial documents and records.
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports and statements.
  • Respond to vendor and internal queries related to payments and accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Desired Candidate Profile


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or entry-level role preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
    Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    Good organizational and time management skills.
    Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
