Roles & Responsibilities
A Junior Accountant plays a vital role in the financial operations of a company, providing essential support to senior accounting staff. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial reports, maintaining ledgers, and assisting in budget preparations. Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Support budget preparation by assisting with data collection and analysis.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and financial transactions.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Monitor financial transactions to identify errors or irregularities promptly.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documentation as needed.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective financial reporting tools.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in accounting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Proven knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success.
