Job Description

A Junior Accountant plays a vital role in the financial operations of a company, providing essential support to senior accounting staff. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial reports, maintaining ledgers, and assisting in budget preparations. Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Support budget preparation by assisting with data collection and analysis.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and financial transactions.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Monitor financial transactions to identify errors or irregularities promptly.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documentation as needed.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective financial reporting tools.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in accounting.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Proven knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success.
