Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and post customer invoices accurately and on time

  • Ensure correct pricing, discounts, VAT, and trade promotions

  • Maintain customer master data and credit limits

  • Monitor receivables and follow up on overdue balances

  • Coordinate with sales and distribution teams to resolve payment issues

  • Prepare aging reports and share collection status with management

  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies

  • Perform customer statement reconciliations

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, deductions, and short payments

  • Prepare monthly AR schedules and closing entries

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and internal procedures

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support auditors

  • Record transactions accurately in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar)

  • Identify and support AR process and cash flow improvements

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in FMCG or distribution

  • Knowledge of UAE VAT and local financial regulations

  • Experience with ERP systems
