Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and preparation of detailed shop drawings for custom joinery items such as wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, wall panels, doors, and built-in furniture.
- Translate conceptual designs into production-ready drawings using CAD or BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)
- Coordinate with the materials team to select appropriate finishes, veneers, and hardware for each joinery item
- Ensure compatibility of materials with the design intent and functional requirements
- Support senior architects and project managers during the design development and construction documentation phases
- Review and update drawings based on site feedback and technical issues
- Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to maintaining design standards and quality control.
- Help prepare BOQs, specifications, and material boards when needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- 1 3 years of relevant experience in joinery or interior fit-out projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or 3D software is a plus.
- Familiarity with woodworking techniques, materials, and detailing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to project needs.
