Job description / Mission
Under the supervision of JCI Project Manager, JC mid-term expert and in close coordination with the SO1 executive assistant who will be his/her direct daily contact person, as well as with the Programme Coordination Unit (PCU), the junior expert will handle the following tasks:

Assess workflow processes, human resources management and needs, internal communication and information management and operational plans.

Identify challenges and obstacles, provide recommendations for improvement.

Provide support in implementing recommendations and technical assistance in streamlining processes based on international standards and best practices.

Develop tools to support workflow processes (guidelines, templates, flow charts, etc.)

Review current strategies used to prepare studies, statistical data, the methodology for data analysis and measuring achievement indicators.

Draft assessment reports with recommendations standardize the process for information management.

Provide technical support to prepare operational plans, KPIs and implementation thereof.

Design report templates as required with specific requirements and timeline and provide support in drafting reports.

Organize and deliver training for staff on operational planning and report writing.

Support in identifying short term expertise required in specialized areas of support.

Submit weekly/monthly update reports to JCI on the progress of work.

Any other functions required to achieve the abovementioned tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications :

University degree in industrial engineering, management, project management or a relevant subject.

7-10 years of experience in the fields of institutional development, planning and project management.

Knowledge of judicial statistical analysis.

Knowledge of the Jordanian courts system, and the Jordanian Judicial System.

Experience working with the Judiciary in Jordan is considered an asset.

Fluency in Arabic and English.

Excellent project management skills and governance procedures, including reporting, monitoring, and evaluation; proficiency in Office software and IT skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organizational, planning and research skills.

Experience with European Union or development projects would be a strong asset.
