JUNIOR MARKET ANALYST

Key Responsibilities:

• Support traders within your designated market team to develop and refine trading strategies
• Analyse market fundamentals including supply, demand, pricing behaviour, flows and regulatory updates relevant to your market
• Build and maintain forecasting models to support short term or long term market views
• Prepare clear market summaries, dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Monitor real time news, fundamentals and data to inform daily trading decisions
• Build and maintain personal AI-driven workflows to scrape, summarise, and structure vast amounts of unstructured market news and reports.
• Innovate on traditional reporting by automating dashboard updates and report generation using Python scripting or low-code AI tools.
• Collaborate with trading, risk and analytics teams to support commercial objectives
• Contribute to research on trading and hedging opportunities within your market
• Assist in creating analytical tools, dashboards and market views in partnership with data scientists and technology teams

Your background:

• 0 3 years of professional experience. Internships, research projects, academic work, or self-driven projects are fully valid
• Bachelor s degree (or near completion) or master s degree in mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative disciplines. We are primarily interested in candidates with strong analytical depth and structural thinking, regardless of whether they come from a purely technical or theoretical background.
• Exposure to at least one programming language (e.g. Python, C++, Java, or similar)
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools to convert unstructured market signals (news, PDFs, web data) into structured, actionable insights.
• A "Builder" mindset: Experience creating small automations or scripts that eliminate manual data entry or repetitive analysis tasks.
• Understanding of basic concepts in data structures, algorithms and computational thinking

• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Desire to grow within a high-performance, intellectually demanding environment
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Background:

• Proven track record of excellence, academic or professional, in quantitative or analytical roles
• Experience working with time-series data, machine learning libraries, or cloud-based data platforms
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive end-to-end solutions
