Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality to optimize procurement spend.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation), ensuring all technical specifications and requirements are clearly communicated.
  • Analyze bid responses, comparing pricing, lead times, and technical capabilities to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, aiming for cost reductions and improved contract terms.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent.

  • Holds relevant certifications such as CPSM or CIPS (desirable but not mandatory).

  • Has a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the engineering or construction industries.

  • Demonstrates strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and material properties.

  • Good communication skills for English and Hindi.
