Junior Production Estimator Sanipex FZE

The Junior Production Estimator will assist the Production Estimator in preparing accurate costings for projects, products, and cutting services. This includes collecting information, analysing drawings, preparing material breakdowns, and ensuring estimates are created accurately and efficiently in line with production capabilities.

The Junior Production Estimator will work closely with the Production Estimator, Production Manager, and CAD Design Team to ensure pricing and estimation align with both operational capacity and customer expectations. This role offers an opportunity to develop commercial, technical, and analytical skills within a manufacturing environment, with clear progression opportunities.

• Assist the Production Estimator in analysing drawings, plans, and job requests to prepare quotations.
• Support the preparation of cost breakdowns for material, labour, and packaging based on approved processes.
• Liaise with the CAD team to confirm design details and measurements before costing.
• Coordinate with purchasing for updated material and consumable prices.
• Maintain and update the quotation log for tracking issued estimates.
• Prepare preliminary quotations under supervision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support in preparing project summaries and reports for management review.
• Keep records of past quotations to support benchmarking and future cost optimisation.
• Learn to identify key cost drivers and potential risks associated with each project.
• Participate in training related to production processes, fabrication methods, and estimation tools.
