Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and maintain AV control system programs for platforms such as Crestron, AMX, Digibird, and Extron.
Configure and program audio DSP systems including Biamp, Q-SYS, BSS, Bose, and Ecler.
Assist in system commissioning, testing, and on-site troubleshooting during project execution.
Integrate AV systems with displays, video conferencing solutions, audio, lighting, and control interfaces.
Support the development and customization of user interfaces (UI) according to project requirements.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Engineers, and Site Teams to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain proper documentation including source code, configuration files, and commissioning reports.
Provide basic end-user training and post-installation support when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in programming principles.
Holds relevant certifications such as Crestron or AMX, demonstrating a practical understanding of AV control systems.
Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in the AV industry, showcasing familiarity with AV equipment and systems.
Demonstrates proficiency in programming languages like Crestron, Python, or similar, essential for developing AV control solutions.
Technical Skills & Requirements
Hands-on experience with at least one major control platform (Crestron / AMX / Extron / Digibird).
Practical knowledge of DSP configuration and tuning (Biamp, Q-SYS, BSS, Bose, Ecler).
Understanding of AV signal flow, networking fundamentals, and system integration.
Ability to read and interpret AV schematics and system drawings.
Familiarity with video conferencing systems (Teams, Zoom, etc.) is an advantage.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and device communication.
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Ready to travel to project sites when required.
