Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To support the daily operations of a store with a focus on inventory management,
  • Receiving and organizing stock,
  • Monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages,
  • Preparing material requisitions in computer,
  • Issue materials against authorized requisitions or material lists,
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records,
  • Help ensure the store is clean and safe,
  • Assist senior staff with other duties,
  • Help maintain safety and security procedures within the store.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks,
  • Fulfill other duties as directed by a senior store in-charge or manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
  • Possesses basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
  • A minimum of 6 months of retail experience is advantageous, indicating some exposure to the role.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks.
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for customer interaction.
