Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Works on defined tasks under close supervision.
  • Follows ADKS processes and procedures.
  • Manages own workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Meet agreed deadlines.
  • Checks quality and accuracy of own work.
  • Produce and deliver technical detailed design drawing, fabrication drawings and BIM collaboration as directed by the ME Technical Design Manager
  • Meet milestone dates in completing contracted design work.
  • Develop the IFC (Issue for construction) drawings, which is made by others, to detailed shop drawing and given budgets.
  • Maintain project design documentation, ensuring that the current version is available to all.
  • Advise appropriate oversight management of scope conflicts.
  • Consult with ADKS field personnel to achieve desired on-site deliverables, finishes, or as-built/installed drawings.
  • Provide technical design development input as needed for fabrication and installation of the works.
  • Ongoing review and familiarity with project specific construction documents and specifications.
  • Assist in evaluating project fabrication methodology to make certain they meet the artistic intent and quality standards of the project as well as meeting the target budget for the production.
  • Provide Technical support for BIM enabling to software application to the project team, and produce clash detection for technical design team drawings.
  • Ensure all models are produce as per technical and creative project intent, and fit within the project parameters.
  • Archive design documentation as projects are completed

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Architecture or related field.
  • Solid working knowledge in all required software and programming languages BIM, REVIT, AUTOCAD 2D and 3D, SKETCH UP, 3D Modelling
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environment
  • Industry experience a plus
