We are a professional Information Technology Solution provider executing projects within the MENA region; currently seeking a professional Junior Technical Support Officer/Engineer- who will serve as a key contributor within the Online Department and will be responsible for:
- Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
- Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve online issues
-Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
The Technical Online Support Officer/Engineer shall be able to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customer, and diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help with our online services.
Technical Responsibilities:
The desired candidate shall be able to resolve network issues, configure operating systems and use remote desktop connections to provide immediate support. The selected candidate will use email and chat applications to give clients quick answers to simple IT issues. For more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, the officer will contact clients via phone and/or provide clear, written instructions and technical manuals.
Education and Qualifications:
The selected candidate shall be a holder of a degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering.
Microsoft, Cisco, Linux or similar certification is a plus.
Expertise, skills and competencies:
- Organized, analytical, self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, adaptable and comfortable working both in a team and independently.
- A strong command in English communication.
- Highly proficient in Excel with suitable competency in other Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment with a positive constructive attitude.
- Client Driven
- Naturally a people person and a helper and willing to go the extra mile to offer outstanding assistance to our clients with computer issues
- Able to simplify and explain technical details basically.
