Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

A. Food & Pastry Preparation

  • Prepare daily menu items including sandwiches, salads, and light meals following established recipes and plating standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and baking of croissants, muffins, cookies, and other pastries.
  • Maintain portion control and consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Support menu development by testing new pastry and brunch concepts.
  • Follow precise food handling, storage, and temperature guidelines.

B. Kitchen Organization & Hygiene

  • Maintain a spotless, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace.
  • Ensure all food prep areas, utensils, and equipment are sanitized throughout service.
  • Follow HACCP and local food safety regulations strictly.
  • Label, date, and store ingredients properly to minimize waste.

C. Coordination & Teamwork

  • Work closely with barista and juicing teams to synchronize service flow.
  • Communicate with management on ingredient shortages and daily prep needs.
  • Support the Shop Manager during peak hours with quick and coordinated execution.
  • Participate in morning prep, end-of-day cleaning, and inventory counts.

D. Quality Control

  • Check all incoming ingredients for freshness and quality.
  • Ensure every product leaving the kitchen meets visual and taste expectations.
  • Report any equipment malfunction or safety issues immediately.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 2 years of experience in a caf , bakery, or restaurant kitchen.

Knowledge of baking, food preparation, and basic culinary techniques.

Understanding of kitchen hygiene, safety, and food preservation.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure with attention to detail.

Basic communication in English and Arabic.

Passionate about food, flavor, and presentation.

Clean, organized, and disciplined.

Team-oriented, respectful, and positive under pressure.

Embodies a refined yet warm hospitality culture.
