Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and ventilation systems
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure kitchen appliances operate safely and efficiently
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to kitchen machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning to extend equipment lifespan
- Ensure all kitchen equipment complies with safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with kitchen teams to minimize service disruption
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance
- Order, track, and organize spare parts for repairs and routine maintenance
- Provide guidance to kitchen staff on proper usage and care of equipment

Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Technical diploma or certification in kitchen equipment maintenance, refrigeration, or related field
- Practical experience maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen appliances
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems related to kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in commercial kitchens
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good manual dexterity and physical ability to manage equipment and tools
- Strong communication skills for coordination with chefs and management
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques
- Certification in electrical or refrigeration work is an advantage
