Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning

  • Deliver a broad, balanced, and creative curriculum in line with the National Curriculum for England.

  • Plan, teach, and assess effectively to ensure all pupils make excellent progress.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEN and EAL.

  • Provide regular feedback and use assessment data to inform teaching and target setting.

  • Maintain excellent classroom discipline aligned with the school s behaviour policy.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share best practices.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor s Degree /PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification /Qualified Teacher Status.

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience (Essential).

  • Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum or EYFS (Essential).

  • A proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities (Essential).

  • Strong classroom management and pastoral skills (Essential).

  • Experience working with EAL learners (Desirable).

  • An understanding of the expectations of UK independent and international schools (Desirable).

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s Degree /PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification /Qualified Teacher Status.
