Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain AI lab equipment including servers, GPUs, workstations, and peripherals.
• Ensure proper functioning of AI/ML software, libraries, and frameworks (e.g., Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, R).
• Provide technical assistance to students and faculty during lab sessions, workshops, and projects.
• Take classes in bachelor program and assist faculties in courses of master programs.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and coordinate with IT support when needed.
• Support implementation of cloud-based AI tools (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, NVIDIA platforms).
• Assist in preparation, cleaning, and management of datasets used for AI experiments.
• Support faculty and researchers in simulation, model training, and evaluation.
• Prepare and maintain lab manuals, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct basic training sessions for students on lab equipment, software usage, and safety protocols.
• Document project workflows and maintain logs of lab usage and research activities
Desired Candidate Profile
Master’s degree in computer science or Artificial Intelligence or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in academic or research settings, preferably in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field
Knowledge :
Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning principles, algorithms, and applications. • In-depth knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as - Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch & R (for data analysis and statistical modeling) • Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services for AI (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure, NVIDIA platforms). • Understanding of GPU computing, parallel processing, and high-performance computing environments. • Awareness of ethical considerations in AI, data privacy, and responsible AI practices. • Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, and basic system administration for lab equipment and software environments. • Familiarity with health informatics concepts and applications is an added advantage, especially for master's program involvement. • Understanding of academic workflows, including research documentation, technical writing, and collaborative projects
