Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The applicant should master employing high resolution mass spectrometry and other chromatographic techniques to identify and validate novel biomarkers for early diagnosis and monitor drug treatment for human disease (e.g. cancer, diabetes, obesity, cardiometabolic disorders and infectious diseases).
The candidate should be expert in protein, metabolite, lipid sample handling (e.g. protein/metabolite/lipid extraction from biological fluids and tissue samples; protein quantification; tryptic digestion in solution/FASP).
Large scale data analysis using processing/bioinformatics tools such as Maxquant, Perseus, Skyline and others is needed.
Direct experience in targeted protein/metabolite quantitative mass spectrometry-based assays and experience in metabolomics/lipidomics/ MALDI-imaging will be an advantage.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should hold a master s degree in pharmaceutical sciences/Bioanalytical field or Molecular Medicine and Transitional Research.
He/she is expected to plan and execute quality research work related to the main theme Identification and translation of novel biomarkers for human disease diagnosis and drug treatment .
