Roles & Responsibilities
Expertly interpret customer measurements and style preferences to create custom ladies' garments and jackets that exceed expectations.
Masterfully cut and sew fabric with precision, ensuring impeccable fit, flawless finishing, and structural integrity of jackets and intricate designs.
Skillfully alter and repair garments, resolving fit issues, and restoring items to their original condition with meticulous attention to detail.
Collaborate closely with clients, offering expert advice on fabric selection, design choices, and construction techniques, building strong relationships.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A diploma or certificate in fashion design, tailoring, or a related field provides a strong foundation.
- Possess a proven track record of at least 5 years of experience in ladies' tailoring and jacket construction, showcasing expertise.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pattern making, draping, and garment construction techniques, showcasing technical mastery.
- Strong command of both spoken and written English is essential, enabling effective communication with clients and colleagues.
