Position Overview
Parsons Corporation is hiring a Land Surveyor in Dubai, UAE to support infrastructure and landscape projects across major real estate developments. The Land Surveyor will perform field surveys, geodetic calculations, setting-out, and as-built verification, ensuring accuracy, safety, and on-schedule delivery for civil works in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform land and field surveys, topographic and control surveys, and geodetic calculations
* Execute setting-out, verify levels, and protect existing services and utilities
* Interface with clients, contractors, and the Resident Engineer to confirm survey requirements
* Prepare field sketches, maintain survey data, field books, and calculation records
* Measure completed works for progress certification when required
* Assist with as-built data capture and preparation of as-built drawings
* Comply with site HSE procedures and contribute to safety briefings and toolbox talks
* Support timely completion of survey tasks within approved man-hours and budgets
* Coordinate survey instrument calibration and ensure proper data management and backups

Ideal Profile

* Diploma/Associate degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or equivalent
* Minimum 7 years of experience on infrastructure and landscape projects with real estate developers
* Strong knowledge of construction sequences, site procedures, and QA/QC practices
* Familiarity with Dubai authority standards and approvals preferred
* Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
* Proven commitment to safe work practices and attention to detail

Skills Set

* Proficient with total stations, GPS/RTK, data collectors, and leveling instruments
* CAD and survey software proficiency for data processing and drafting
* Control establishment, traverse adjustment, and coordinate system conversions
* Setting-out for roads, utilities, and landscape features
* Quantity verification, as-built surveys, and report preparation
