Role Summary
Parsons Corporation is seeking a Landscape Architect to join its Dubai team and oversee landscape design and construction supervision for large-scale community and land development projects. The role involves coordinating design, reviewing contractor submissions, inspecting sites, and ensuring compliance with regional standards for both hard and soft landscaping. The Landscape Architect will play a key role in delivering sustainable and high-quality public realm and community spaces.

What You ll Do
- Coordinate the design and implementation of landscaping projects, resolving site-related issues for both hard and soft landscaping
- Lead and manage landscape planning and design activities, liaising with engineers, architects, and planners
- Review contractor submissions, including shop drawings, materials, and technical proposals, ensuring compliance with contract documents
- Provide recommendations on contractor and subcontractor prequalifications
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality and compliance with project specifications
- Select and approve plants/trees from suppliers before delivery to site
- Apply thorough knowledge of plant species suitable for the region and their environmental requirements
- Ensure compliance with irrigation design standards and specifications for various plantation types
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and contractors on landscaping requirements
- Collaborate with authorities to ensure approval and compliance with local regulations
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture
- Minimum 12 years of experience in landscape architecture, including design and construction supervision for land or community development projects
- Strong knowledge of constructability, design-to-execution integration, and authority requirements
- Professional registration or certification preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with current technology and relevant engineering/design software
