Key Responsibilities
- Perform field engineering assignments applying core engineering principles across landscape and irrigation works
- Coordinate landscape design activities and resolve site-related issues involving hard and soft landscaping
- Develop project proposals in coordination with client requirements and liaise with designers and stakeholders
- Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, documents, materials, and technical proposals for compliance with contract documents
- Provide approvals in line with contract requirements, standards, and specifications
- Review contractor and subcontractor prequalification submissions and provide recommendations to the client
- Conduct site inspections to verify works are executed correctly and meet quality standards
- Select plants and trees from approved external sources prior to delivery to site
- Apply in-depth knowledge of regional plant species, growth conditions, and maintenance requirements
- Ensure irrigation systems comply with applicable standards, plantation needs, and project specifications
- Provide functional guidance to site and craft personnel where required
- Support authority-related requirements, standards, and specifications throughout project execution
- Perform additional responsibilities associated with landscape engineering delivery as required
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum twelve years of experience in landscape and irrigation design and construction supervision, preferably in the UAE
- Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or mixed-use landscape projects
- Demonstrated capability to perform in a management or senior engineering capacity
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction processes
- Good written and verbal communication skills for client, contractor, and authority coordination
- Knowledge of construction health, safety, environmental, and sustainability practices
- Familiarity with international and local authority standards and statutory requirements
