Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead construction supervision of landscape and irrigation works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and authority requirements
- Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection and test plans related to landscape and irrigation works
- Oversee installation of softscape, hardscape, planting, street furniture, and irrigation systems including pumps, control systems, and TSE connections
- Coordinate with resident engineers, discipline engineers, inspectors, and contractors to resolve technical issues and site constraints
- Monitor quality, workmanship, and progress of landscape activities and ensure corrective actions for non-conformances
- Interface with utility authorities and relevant stakeholders to support inspections, approvals, and handover activities
- Support preparation and review of as-built drawings, testing and commissioning records, and handover documentation
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to landscape inspectors and junior engineers
- Contribute to progress reporting, risk identification, and coordination of interfaces with roads, utilities, and structures
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Landscape Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience on large infrastructure or masterplan construction projects
- Strong technical expertise in landscape engineering and irrigation network design and construction
- Proven experience supervising landscape works on major infrastructure or urban development projects
- Ability to interpret landscape, irrigation, and utility drawings, specifications, and authority standards
- Solid understanding of QA QC procedures, inspection regimes, and commissioning requirements
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills in multidisciplinary construction environments
