Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry machines, ensuring they are functioning optimally and reporting any issues immediately.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of linens and garments, adhering to specific care instructions to prevent damage.
- Monitor inventory levels of detergents and other cleaning supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure continuous operations.
- Inspect finished laundry for quality assurance, ensuring that all items are free from stains and defects before distribution.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on vocational training in laundry services preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a commercial laundry or hospitality environment, showcasing hands-on skills.
- Certification in safety protocols and chemical handling is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to workplace safety.
- Knowledge of various fabrics and care requirements is essential to prevent damage and ensure quality results.
