Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Sort, wash, dry, iron, press, and fold linens, uniforms, and laundry items.
Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or special care requirements.
Distribute clean uniforms and linens to designated departments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
Monitor laundry supplies and report shortages.
Follow health, safety, and chemical handling procedures.
Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments on staff uniforms and garments.
Repair damaged linens, curtains, bedding, and textile items.
Operate sewing machines and tailoring equipment.
Measure and fit uniforms as required.
Maintain tailoring materials, tools, and supplies.
Ensure all repairs and alterations are completed in a timely manner.
Keep accurate records of uniform issuance, repairs, and alterations.
