Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the architectural framework of complex systems, ensuring scalability and performance meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into architectural specifications that drive the development process.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools, integrating them into the existing architecture to enhance functionality and efficiency.
  • Establish best practices for software development and architecture, mentoring junior architects and developers in cutting-edge design patterns.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and quality assessments, providing expert recommendations to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to communicate architectural vision and address potential concerns, fostering alignment across business units.
  • Manage technical debt and facilitate the transition from legacy systems to modern solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, providing clear guidance for the development team.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate new technologies and solutions, demonstrating their value to stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and architecture, with a solid track record in leading projects.
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Proven experience in designing scalable, high-performance systems within industries like finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.
  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C#) and frameworks to adapt quickly to project needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture is highly desirable.
  • Cultural adaptability and openness to global collaboration, with a preference for candidates who understand diverse work environments.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency is a plus for international project engagement.
