Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day bakery operations, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee production schedules, baking processes, and inventory management.
  • Implement and maintain kitchen systems, processes, and governance frameworks to improve operations.
  • Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness are always upheld.
  • Supervise and train bakery staff, fostering a culture of reliability, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Take initiative to streamline workflows and optimise production using automated systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, wastage, and stock control.
  • Work closely with management to drive performance, consistency, and quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a senior or lead baker role within a professional kitchen or café.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.
  • Strong understanding of bakery operations, quality control, and hygiene standards.
  • Experienced in working with automated or semi-automated baking systems.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive, with strong communication and leadership qualities.
  • Must be currently based in the UAE and available for an immediate start.
