Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Lead Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team for key Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the design, analysis, and execution of civil and structural works for large-scale upstream and downstream facilities. This role requires significant experience operating within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on projects with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and are intimately familiar with their standards and specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Minimum B-Tech/B.E. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the design and engineering of Civil & Structural works, specifically within the Oil & Gas sector (e.g., Refineries, Petrochemical Plants, Tank Farms, Pipelines, Offshore/Onshore facilities).
  • Regional Expertise: Demonstrable design and project experience within the GCC region is mandatory.
  • UAE/ADNOC Preference: Significant working experience in the UAE is highly desirable, with a strong preference for candidates who have directly managed or executed projects adhering to ADNOC engineering standards and specifications.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of structural analysis software (including Revit) and a comprehensive understanding of soil mechanics and foundation design. Demonstrable experience in the stability analysis and verification of large-scale Steel Structures and Pipe Support systems is mandatory.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
