Lead HSE Engineer Technical Safety Loss Prevention

We are currently looking for Lead HSE Engineers to be based in Abu Dhabi location. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HSE activities for offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international safety standards.
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments, particularly focusing on offshore-specific risks.
• Design and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize risks to personnel, the environment, and assets.
• Oversee safety audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety standards.
• Support the development of safety management systems and procedures for offshore operations.
• Provide guidance on technical safety issues, ensuring all safety systems are designed to meet the highest standards.
• Liaise with project teams to ensure the timely and effective resolution of safety-related issues.
• Contribute to emergency response planning and safety training programs for offshore personnel.
  
  

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a strong focus on offshore operations.
• Extensive experience in technical safety, risk management, and loss prevention in the offshore context.
• In-depth understanding of offshore safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Proven track record of leading and managing HSE activities for large-scale offshore projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
