Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire piping engineering team to achieve project goals.
• Oversee piping design activities ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Develop detailed plans and specifications for piping projects.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project managers effectively.
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary data for piping system designs.
• Ensure all design modifications are documented and implemented correctly.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineering staff.
• Review vendor documents and technical drawings for accuracy and consistency.
• Work with procurement teams to specify materials and ensure material quality.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any potential risks.
• Implement cost-effective solutions and design processes for piping systems.
• Ensure all designed piping systems comply with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping engineering or related area.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and pipeline design specifications.
• Proficiency with piping design software such as AutoCAD or PDS/PDMS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
