Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Structural Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for leading design delivery of bridges and other transportation structures on multiple high-profile projects and playing your part in the development of the City's infrastructure for the 21st Century.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading Technical Delivery of Bridge / Structure designs on multiple projects in parallel.

• Leading Technical Reviews of the team's work, including Quality checking prior to submission.

• Delivering high-quality and technically sound structure designs.

• Identifying opportunities for Innovative solutions and Value Engineering.

• Planning, allocating and coordinating resources to execute our design commissions.

• Liaison with Project Managers and other Discipline Leads to manage delivery schedules, information flow into and out of the team, and inter-disciplinary interfaces.

• Setting and agreeing priorities with Project Managers and Technical Managers.

• Meeting with Clients and Approving Authorities, where required, to present and discuss design matter and obtain Approvals.

• Providing clear direction to the design team and ensuring expectations and priorities are understood.

• Reporting to the Technical Director on delivery, staffing and utilization.

• Supporting the Technical Director on recruitment and people management within the team.

• Act as a deputy Technical Director when needed.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor s degree in civil or Structural Engineering

• Minimum 20 years' relevant post-graduate work experience in design delivery of bridges, of which at least 7+ years must be working on RTA projects, is mandatory.

• Experience on RTA Projects experience is mandatory

• Prior experience providing guidance and leadership to junior engineers

• Strong Communication skills, written and oral, in English.

• Dedication to technical excellence, innovation, and high-quality delivery.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Previous experience in UAE and GCC is an advantage.

• Experience in design delivery of cut and cover covered tunnels

• Experience working in ISO 19650 BIM-compliant environment and software in a Common Data Environment.
