Lead Teacher (Nursery)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Teacher for our FS2 (Foundation Stage 2) class. The ideal candidate will be an English speaker with a bachelor s degree in education or a related field, capable of creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that supports young children s development and prepares them for the next stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework or equivalent curriculum standards.
  
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  
• Assess and monitor individual student regularly progress, providing feedback and support tailored to each child's needs.
  
• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues regarding student progress and wellbeing.
  
• Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive interactions among students.
  
• Collaborate with other teaching staff and participate in professional development opportunities.
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
  
• Uphold school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
  

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a closely related field.
  
• Native English speaker (essential).
  
• Proven experience teaching young children (FS2 or equivalent age group).
  
• Familiarity with EYFS or similar early years curriculum frameworks.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Ability to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
  
• Passionate about early childhood education and development.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in first aid or child safeguarding (preferred).
  
• Experience with additional languages or multicultural environments.
  
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
  
• Creative approach to teaching and learning activities.
