Key tasks
Responsible of planning, organizing, leading and supervising training processes within the hotel
Ensure that all training activities are completely aligned with the culture, Accor values, Novotel & Ibis strategies,
and the hotel
Ensures that the following elements are applied long-term throughout the hotel:
- the brand's service standards
- the brand's promise
Behaves and acts as an exemplary , embodying the brand mindset
In conjunction with the management, builds up the processes, actions and working methods needed to fulfill training
needs of the hotel.
Schedule and attend monthly meeting with departments to discuss and identify training needs.
Participates in the selection and certifying of TWI trainers
Supervises, motivates & actively maintains the TWI trainers force
Develops and implement coaching and mentoring program to all Team Members at all levels
Advises and assists management in achieving specific training and development objectives
Coordinate and evaluate internal and external training programs
Analyze and identify the needs and resources
Conduct an annual training needs analysis
Align plans with property busniness strategy, revenue growth and operational efficiency
Understand the impact of the key components of successful hotels: team members, guests, owner & profit
Develops and / or adapt training programs to meet hotel needs
Provides a methodological framework for Heads of Department, to implement long-term standards:
analysis, diagnosis, action plan and follow-up
Analyses results using indicators defined at Brand level and identifies the hotel's specific aims
Presents recommendations to managers and defines possible improvement actions with them.
Coordinates with the Hygiene Manager and HR the implementation of all Training Programmes as per
brands requirements (as per training needs)
Coordinate and monitors the hotels training plans
Maintains training calendar (yearly and monthly)
Manages the training budget
Identify internal and external training resources and optimizes the budget
TWI trainers and managers, within the established budget
Prepares report as required
Maintains accurate training records of all Team Members
Directs the implementation of policies and procedures related to training
Conduct hotel orientation for new Team Members
Measures training effectiveness
