Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assess the condition of leather goods, identifying areas requiring repair or restoration with keen attention to detail.
  • Execute a variety of repair techniques, including stitching, patching, and dyeing, to restore leather items to their original state.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment for leather repair, ensuring precision and safety during all processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to best practices for leather care and repair.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in leatherworking or upholstery is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in leather repair or related field, showcasing a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Certifications in leather repair or restoration techniques are highly preferred to demonstrate expertise.
  • Experience in working with various types of leather, including suede, nubuck, and bonded leather for versatility.
