Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics courses, including (but not limited to):
  • Calculus I, Calculus II, Mathematics for Business, Probability and Statistics.
  • Develop course syllabi, teaching materials, assessments, and marking schemes in alignment with program learning outcomes.
  • Conduct formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to support student learning and progression.
  • Mentor and advise students academically.
  • Utilize digital and educational technologies to promote an interactive and effective learning environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, program review, and continuous improvement activities within the department.
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university administrative duties as assigned.
  • Engage in professional development, research activities (where applicable), and community service.

Desired Candidate Profile

Master s or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline from an internationally recognized university.

  • At least one year of teaching experience in mathematics courses at the university or college level (science background preferred).
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
