Legal Consultant AFNAN PERFUMES - L.L.C

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Legal Consultant to lead and oversee all legal operations of our Group of Companies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAE legal systems, intellectual property law, anti-counterfeiting measures, employment law, contract negotiation, and real estate regulations, with the ability to handle cross-border legal matters efficiently. This role requires strategic thinking, practical legal knowledge, and the ability to work closely with various departments to protect the company’s interests, brand, and assets across UAE and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support and strategic advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters across the group of companies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements, NDAs, and real estate documents.
• Lead the registration and legal protection of the company’s trademarks and intellectual property, both local and international locations.
• Conduct investigations into counterfeit products and IP infringements, develop enforcement strategies, and initiate legal actions as needed.
• Manage disputes related to IP theft, brand misuse, and counterfeit product sales, coordinating with enforcement agencies, customs, and external counsel.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to detect, monitor, and prevent counterfeiting across physical and digital marketplaces.
• Oversee UAE trademark registration, IP filings, oppositions, and renewals across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Support HR with employment law matters, employee investigations, policy development, and compliance with UAE Labour Law.
• Manage legal compliance and documentation for real estate transactions, ensuring adherence to Form F (Dubai Land Department) and related laws.
• Maintain and improve internal legal systems, archives, SOPs, and document management protocols.
• Lead and mentor the legal team and manage relationships with external law firms and government authorities.
