Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Review EPC contracts, PPA, Term sheet Agreement, subcontracts, procurement agreements, and commercial documents, identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies.

  2. Attend negotiation meetings with Clients and other stake holders.

  3. Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents such as letters, notices, internal opinions, meeting minutes, and legal memoranda.

  4. Provide legal support to project teams throughout project execution, offering advice on construction claims, variations, compliance, and dispute avoidance.

  5. Conduct legal research on international construction law, contract law, commercial law, and local jurisdiction requirements to support operations.

  6. Participate in contract negotiation with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and JV partners; prepare negotiation positions and legal notes.

  7. Assist in managing disputes including expert determination, DAB/DAAB, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

  8. Coordinate with external law firms, monitor case progress, and assist in preparing witness statements, pleadings, and evidence bundles.

  9. Prepare legal analysis reports, risk assessments, and legal training materials; provide legal training to projects when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelors in Law or equivalent law degree

  2. Demonstrated experience in managing EPC contracts, Construction Agreements, FIDIC forms and other related contracts.

  3. Participate in contract negotiations with owners, subcontractors, and JV partners.

  4. Attend major project meetings and provide legal input on contractual performance and compliance.

  5. Participate in tender clarification and negotiation meetings.

  6. Participate in the selection, appointment, and management of external lawyers and experts.

  7. Join dispute resolution meetings with external counsel, arbitrators, or experts as required.

  8. Assist with compliance audits, internal investigations, and company-level legal governance tasks.
