Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The Legal Officer is responsible for providing legal support, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing contracts, and managing legal risks. The role involves advising management on legal matters and coordinating with external counsel when required.



Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect company interests.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to management and departments on business operations and compliance issues.
  • Ensure all company activities comply with local laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Represent the company in legal matters and liaise with external lawyers and government authorities.
  • Prepare and maintain legal documentation, licenses, and records.
  • Handle company litigation cases, dispute resolution, and claims management.
  • Conduct legal research on corporate, labor, real estate, and commercial laws as required.
  • Review internal policies and procedures to identify potential legal risks and recommend corrective measures.
  • Support company secretarial activities, including drafting board resolutions and maintaining statutory records.
  • Provide training and awareness on legal compliance and corporate governance to relevant departments
