Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Continuously scan the designated water area, proactively identifying potential hazards and swimmers in distress, ensuring immediate response.
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations firmly, yet politely, to maintain a safe and orderly aquatic environment.
- Provide immediate and effective first aid and CPR when necessary, staying calm and composed during emergencies.
- Monitor water clarity and quality, reporting any issues to the supervisor to maintain a healthy and safe swimming environment.
- Assist with pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical testing, to ensure optimal water conditions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- ADQCC certificate - Mandatory
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification (BLS preferred).
- Strong swimming and rescue skills.
- Excellent observation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations.
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of lifeguard duties.
- November 1st week as a maternity cover for 3 months.
