Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the safe execution of all lifting operations, adhering strictly to approved procedures and regulations for optimal safety standards.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and method statements for lifting activities, preemptively mitigating potential hazards and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to lifting teams, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance during critical operations.
  • Inspect and certify lifting equipment, including cranes, slings, and accessories, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and are fit for purpose.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.

  • Holds a recognized Lifting Operations Planning (ALPO) certification, demonstrating specialized expertise in lifting operations.

  • Certified as a competent person for lifting operations, showcasing the ability to assess and manage lifting-related risks effectively.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in lifting operations within the oil and gas or construction industry, providing practical knowledge.

  • Previous approval from TAQA is a plus point
