The key objectives for this role are:

• Responsible for overseeing and managing all lifting operations on-site, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with ADNOC standards and project requirements
• Oversee lifting operations on-site, ensuring they are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, local laws, and international standards
  Safety Compliance: Ensure lifting operations are conducted in full compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures to prevent accidents or incidents

• A recognized certification in lifting operations (e.g., Lifting Supervisor Course, Crane Operations Safety Course, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in lifting supervision in the construction industry
• Extensive experience with cranes, hoisting equipment, rigging, and lifting techniques
• Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi and UAE safety regulations related to lifting operations
• In-depth knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and lifting procedures
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment processes, and compliance

• Equipment Management: Monitor the condition and maintenance of lifting equipment (e.g., cranes, hoists, slings, etc.), ensuring all machinery is fit for use, properly inspected, and serviced according to schedules
• Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of riggers, crane operators, and other lifting personnel. Provide training and guidance on lifting procedures, safety protocols, and the proper use of equipment
• Lift Plans and Procedures: Develop, review, and implement detailed lifting plans, including the assessment of load weights, equipment requirements, and rigging configurations. Ensure all plans are approved before execution
• On-Site Coordination: Coordinate lifting operations with other construction activities to minimize disruptions and ensure timely project delivery. Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient lifting operations
• Incident Reporting and Investigation: Document any lifting incidents or near-misses, conducting investigations as necessary Develop corrective actions and ensure that safety protocols are revised accordingly
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all required lifting documentation (inspection records, permits, and licenses) are completed and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to the project manager on the status of lifting operations, highlighting any concerns, risks, or delays. Maintain clear and effective communication with the site team and stakeholders
