Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all lifting operations on site, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed to prevent accidents.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments before lifting activities begin, identifying potential hazards and implementing control measures.
  • Communicate effectively with crane operators, riggers, and ground crew, ensuring everyone is clear on the lifting plan and signals.
  • Monitor weather conditions and site conditions to make informed decisions about lifting operations, postponing when necessary.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in lifting operations preferred.
  • Valid lifting supervisor certification from a recognized authority, demonstrating competency in lifting practices.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in lifting operations within construction, oil & gas, or heavy industries.
  • Experience managing lifting operations in diverse environments, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills.
