Job Summary:

The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all lifting operations on site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all lifting and rigging activities on site.
• Ensure lifting equipment and accessories are inspected, certified, and used correctly.
• Verify that all lifting operations are conducted as per approved lifting plans and method statements.
• Conduct site risk assessments and toolbox talks before lifting activities.
• Liaise with crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and site engineers to ensure safe operations.
• Monitor weather and site conditions affecting lifting operations.
• Report and record any incidents, near misses, or equipment faults immediately.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / ITI / .
• Valid Lifting Supervisor Certificate (as per local authority requirement).
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in lifting operations within high-rise construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cranes, rigging gear, and lifting techniques.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and able to work at heights.
• Familiar with international lifting standards (BS, LOLER, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand lifting plans and load charts.
