Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate light vehicles, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and company policies to maintain a flawless driving record.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify any mechanical issues, ensuring safety and reliability.
- Plan and execute efficient routes based on delivery schedules, optimizing time and fuel consumption for cost-effective operations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying that all items are accounted for and properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional vocational training in automotive mechanics seen as an asset.
Valid light vehicle driver’s license with a clean driving record, showcasing reliability and responsibility on the road.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience in logistics, delivery, or transportation sectors, demonstrating expertise.
Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning software, ensuring efficient navigation and timely deliveries.
